The Flambouro Philanthropic Society Dance Group returned to the Antipodes Lonsdale Street Festival in Melbourne for the third time in 2024, delivering an unforgettable performance. Building on the success of their previous appearances, this year's performance featured an all-new routine.

Audiences were treated to a dynamic fusion of traditional and modern Greek music, mixed by DJ Apostal, accompanied by mesmerising performances of iconic Greek dances like the Tsamiko and the Makedonia. Once again, the Flambouro Dance Group brought the vibrant spirit of Greek culture to life in the heart of Melbourne, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.

The Flambouro Philanthropic Society of South Australia was established in 1957 from the first generation of immigrants to Australia. This society in Australia is the second village for all the immigrants and now their extended families. It is an extension of home and keeps alive traditions and friendships from our beloved village.
